Each month one student is chosen as Students of the Month. This student is nominated by their instructor and staff.

The criteria for Student of the Month is to have good attendance, have a good work ethic, a good attitude, and be in good creative standing. Students who are chosen for Student of the Month are eligible to be nominated for Student of the Year award at Made by Makers annual award ceremony.
